Christmas came early at Lovewell State Park on Saturday, when the staff hosted its 21st Annual Campground Christmas. This year’s event had 13 decorated campsites, cabins and trailers registered for the contest. Entries were decked out with lights, holiday blowups, Christmas trees and a variety of traditional and non-traditional decorations. Winning first place by judges’ vote was Susan Traeger and friends of Fairbury, in the North Willow Campground, with their Redneck Christmas display.
