Graveside inurnment for Glendolyn Myrle (Bartley) Gregg, 87, Lawrence, Kansas, will be 10 a.m. Friday. A visitation will be at 10 a.m. today, (Thursday) at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, Lawrence.
Glendolyn M. Gregg (Bartley) died Thursday, July 27, 2023, at Olathe Hospice House in Olathe.
She was born August 13, 1935, in rural Jewell County, the first born of Glenn Bartley and LoVona M. Bartley. She attended rural Jewell County schools and graduated high school at Ionia Rural High School on May 14, 1953.
She married Roger C. Gregg on May 21, 1955, in Smith Center. They celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary before Roger’s death in June, 1995.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Glenda Lee (Bartley) Thayer; and a brother, Glenn E. Bartley, Jr.
Suvivors include a son, Theron Gregg and wife Pam, Lawrence, Kansas, Thadean Colling of Kansas City, Kansas; five grandchildren, Grant M. Gregg and family, Ryan Paulson and family of Lawrence, Kansas, Tyson Paulson and family of Knoxville, Tennessee, Carli Paulson of Lawrence, Kansas, Jacob Collins of Kansas City, Kansas; seven great-children; and brother, Gail E. (Lynette) Bartley, Webber, Kansas.
