Fourth Street closed for two block project

As expected, the construction company hired to do the work arrived this week and promptly closed Superior’s Fourth Street from Bloom west to Kansas Street. Residents within the area may still reach their homes but the Fourth Street entrance into Casey’s store is closed and will remain closed while the street is a construction zone. Some modifications to the storm sewer system are planned along with the provision of a turning lane for vehicles entering Casey’s and the replacement of the concrete street surface. The work is expected to take about a month.
