Commissioners to consider ATM in sheriff's office

On July 31, at their regular meeting the commissioners will decide on a proposal for installation of an automated teller machine (ATM) in the lobby of the Jewell County Sheriff’s Office at the county courthouse.

The ATM would be installed and serviced through Farmway Credit Union. The cost to Jewell County would be limited to minimal electricity used in powering the machine. The machine would be accessible in the sheriff’s lobby 24 hours per day, seven days per week.

The commissioners will discuss and vote on the proposal. The meeting is open to the public and subject to the Kansas Open Records Act.
