High School post-graduation football games have become a tradition in Nebraska and contributions to teams from Lawrence-Nelson have also been a tradition.
The 2023 Sertoma 8-Man Classic was played last Saturday at the Hastings College football field.
Schools playing 8-Man football in Nebraska were divided into East and West teams. The West team included Lawrence-Nelson and representing L-N was just graduated senior, Krayton Kucera.
The west team won the game by a score of 26 to 6 which gave the West a 23 to 22 edge in victories over the 45 years of the game.
Krayton's contribution came on the defensive side of the ball. He was credited with seven tackles for his time in the game.
Congratulations, Krayton, on representing the L-N Raiders well in the game.
