The 16th annual For the Cure Breast Cancer Awareness Golf Tournament took place on Saturday at Superior Country Club. This year's theme was "Keep The Girls Golden," with a nod to The Golden Girls. Twenty, four-person lady teams played in the tournament.
The planning committee and participants are proud to be a part of this vital, cause-oriented golf program. The fundraiser raised more than $10,000 to be donated to the Nuckolls Country Cancer Stop organization this year.
The planning chair was Sidney Rokusek, The committee members for 2023 were Krista Tatro, Mindy Clyde, TJ Sibert, Steph Corman and Jenna Ackerman.
The tournament offers multiple games on the course throughout the day, flag prizes, raffle items and door prizes. The conclusion of the day ended with a meal for all the players enjoy together.
