Rock Hills High School Music students attended the Regional Music solo and small ensemble contest on Saturday, April 15. Alexandria Fogo played her Timpani solo, Faith Reinert played a trumpet solo and sang a vocal solo, Arielle Jacobs played a flute solo, Matthew Rice played an alto sax solo, Davin Coil played a baritone sax solo and Matthew Rice, Arielle Jacobs, Hannah Simmelink and Davin Coil played in a saxophone quartet. The saxophone quartet qualified to compete at the state solo and small ensemble festival on Saturday, April 29. Matthew and Davin will take their saxophone solos to state and Faith will take her vocal solos to state. The soloists will be performing at the Junior-Senior High Spring concert at 7 p.m., on Thursday, May 4, in the Rock Hills High School Little Theater.
