Retail sales grow 2.7 %

When compared to January 2022, retail sales in Superior were up 3.3 percent in January 2023 according to a report compiled by the Nebraska Department of Revenue. For Nuckolls County retail sales rose 2.7 percent in January 2023 when compared to January 2022.

Superior sales totaled $1,967,570 in January. The month’s county total was $3,537268.

For the same period Red Cloud sales declined 2.4 percent. Webster County sales were down 1.3 percent. Total sales in Webster County during January totalled $1,474,884.

Hebron sales grew 6.9 percent to $1561.973. Thayer County sales were up 2.7 percent to $2,768,580.

Clay County sales grew 2.6 percent to $1,916,771. Sutton sales were up 15 percent to 1,146,323.

Adams County sales were up 6.1 percent and while sales in Hastings were up 6 percent.

Fillmore County sales fell 1.2 percent while Geneva sales were 9 percent to $2,276,585. County wide the total sales for January 2023 was $3,607,827.

January is the latest month for which the state has published a report.
