City of Nelson needs imput for Community Assessment survey
The City of Nelson and the Nelson Community Club are working together to make improvements to the community. Some of the projects being considering will not be possible without the influx of grant monies.
One of the requirements in many of the grant applications is to have an up-to-date community assessment survey completed that provides data relating to the grant being applied for.
The committee, with the help of Nebraksa Public Power District’s Economic Development team, put together a survey addressing these needs. Beginning April 3, this survey will be available to citizens of Nelson and the surrounding community.
There will be two ways to take part in the survey. The City of Nelson will include information with a QR code link to the survey in a mailing that is set to come out soon. The Nelson Community Club will have the same information available as part of the next quarterly newsletter. Hard copies of the survey will be available for those not wishing to take the survey electronically. The hard copies may be picked up at the Nelson City Office or at the Nelson Library.
The on-line survey will be conducted by Survey Monkey and the results will be tabulated electronically. The hard copy surveys must be turned in to the city office no later than April 17. These results will be entered manually.
The information provided will be collected as data and no personal information will be shared.
All members of the community, whether residing within the city limits or are a rural member, are asked to take the time to fill out the survey. Results tabulated from all the citizens make an impact on what grant money is available.
