Lawrence-Nelson FFA had a successful District LDE contest on Jan. 25. Twenty-eight Raiders went to Aurora to compete in 11 events. Jasper Elledge earned district runner up and a trip to state in Discovery Speaking with his speech about cow dogs. Brody Buescher earned fourth and first alternate to state in Ag Literacy Speaking with his speech about John Deere. FFA members were gearing up for Spring CDEs at Central Community College, state degree interviews and National FFA Week.
