SHS wrestling at Thayer Central Invite

The Superior High School girls and boys wrestling teams traveled to Hebron Friday for the Thayer Central Invitational.

The girls team brought home second place, with 40 points, in the seven team field.

The boys finished in sixth place, with 67 points, in the 13 team field. Cheyenne Stacy earned 20 team points with her first place finish in the 115 pound weight bracket.

Carlee Hinz picked up 20 team points with her first place finish in the 140 pound weight bracket.

Holden McDonald finished in third place in the 120 pound weight bracket to earn 16 team points. Cole Rughe took eighth place and earned one team point.

Hayden Neeman landed first place points at the 132 pound mark while earning 28 team points. Cooper Sheely finished in ninth place.

Lincoln Sander was in fifth place in the 138 pound weight bracket where he earned two team points. Colt Laaker finished in sixth place.

Aaron Allgood held second place in the 152 pound weight bracket and earned 19 team points for the Wildcats. Cooper Ehlers finished in 14th place.

Kyler Boyles landed the three team points for sixth place at the 160 pound weight mark. David Hodges finished in ninth place.

Christian Osweiler finished in eight place in the 220 pound weight bracket.

Henry Griljava was in fifth place in the 285 pound weight bracket.

The Wildcats travel to Utica, Saturday, for the Southern Nebraska conference Tournament hosted by centennial High School.
