The Rock Hills High School girls basketball team crafted a two-game winning streak by defeating Lawrence-Nelson 45-39 last Tuesday at Mankato. The Grizzlies downed Lincoln 47-30 at Lincoln, Friday to win their opening round game of the Northern Plains League Tournament.
Lauren Whelchel hit for 24 points against Lawrence-Nelson while Danica Frost dropped through 14 points.
Whelchel led the Grizzlies scoring against Lincoln with 16 points while Frost contributed 14 points.
The Grizzlies fell to Osborne 63-28 at Lincoln, Monday, to see their modest win strek come to an end.
They played Thunder Ridge, at Lincoln, Tuesday in the consolation semi-final game. Results were unavailable at press time.
The team hosts Tescott at Mankato Tuesday.
