SHS wrestlers compete at Franklin

The Superior High School girls and boys wrestling teams competed at the Franklin Invitational Saturday.

The girls team finished in fourth place, with 36 points, in the six team field. The boys took eighth place, with 94 points, in the 19 team field.

Cheyenne Stacy was awarded 18 team points for her second place finish in the 110 pound weight bracket. Carlee Hinz took second place in the 140 pound weight bracket and earned 19 team points for the girls team.

Holden McDonald wrestled at the 120 pound mark and earned one team point.

Hayden Neeman earned a first place finish and 30 team points in the 132 pound weight bracket.

Lincoln Sander was awarded three team points for his efforts in the 138 pound weight bracket.

Colt Laaker competed in the 136 pound weight bracket.

Cooper Ehlers took to the mats in the 152 pound weight bracket.

Aaron Allgood stood at the top of the podium with his first place finish in the 152 pound weight bracket. He was awarded 30 team points.

Kyler Boyles took third place honors in the 160 pound weight bracket while earning 20 team points. David Hodges competed at 160 pounds.

Christian Osweiller competed at 220 pounds.

Henry Griljava finished in sixth place in the 285 pound weight bracket. He earned 10 team points.

Cooper Sheely finished third in the 132 pound B bracket.

Superior competes at a triangular match at Doniphan-Trumbull, at Doniphan, Thursday. Superior hosts the Superior Invitational at the high school gymnasium Friday. First match is scheduled for 3 p.m.
