The Rock Hills High School boys basketball team dropped their first game of 2023 to the Red Cloud Warriors, 51-42, at Mankato last Tuesday. They rebounded to top the Chase Kats, 56-23, at Chase, Friday. The team hosted the Lawrence-Nelson Raiders at Mankato, Tuesday with game results unavailable at press time.
Statistics were unavailable for the Red Cloud game.
Cooper McDill led the Rock Hills scoring against Chase with 16 points. Eli Vance netted 10 points for the Grizzlies. Troy Duskie and Ethan Wirth put up six points apiece. Ethan Kenworthy finished with four points.
The Grizzlies compete at the Northern Plains League Tournament Friday and Tuesday with location and opponents to be determined.
