The Lawrence-Nelson High School girls basketball team ran into Bulldog trouble in their last two games. The Friend Bulldogs handed the Raiders a 52-39 loss, Tuesday, Dec. 16 at Nelson. The Shelton Bulldogs ripped into the Raiders 57-23, at Shelton, last Tuesday.
Sydney Biltoft led the Raiders scoring list against Friend with 18 points. Kara Menke popped through 12 points. Emily Troudt contributed nine points. Katelyn Mazour hit for eight points. Hanna Skinner scored five points. Mazour snapped up six rebounds. Biltoft and Skinner landed four rebounds each. Troudt provided three rebounds. Josie Hajny, Menke and Jessica Sole accounted for two rebounds apiece.
Statistics were unavailable for the Shelton game. The Raiders record stands at 2-4.
The Raiders compete at the Hershey Holiday Tournament today (Thursday) and Friday.
The Raiders entertain McCool Junction at Nelson Tuesday.
