SHS wrestling opens season with a win

It was a busy Friday and Saturday for the Superior High School wrestling team. The Wildcats competed at the Sandy Creek quadrangular Friday. The team competed at the Harvard Invitational Saturday. The Wildcat squad rosters a large number of underclassmen who are looking to gain experience throughout the season.

Superior faced off against Sandy Creek’s USD5 team which has wrestlers from Red Cloud, Lawrence-Nelson and Blue Hill on their roster through cooperative programs. Superior has a cooperative program with Deshler. Kyler Boyles won his match at 170 pounds. Henry Griljava picked up the win...
