Don’t forget this Saturday, November 26, is Christmas in Mankato. Shopping starts at 3:30 p.m. and goes until 6:30 p.m.
Santa Claus will be downtown from 3:30 to 5:30 in front of the Jewell County Museum.
Participants in the Parade of Lights need to meet in the Jewell County Historical Museum lot just north of the park entrance between 6:30 and 6:45 p.m. The Parade of Lights includes mowers, golf carts and UTV vehicles. The parade will start at 6:45.
Hay rack rides with Santa will follow the Christmas Tree lighting. The tree lighting and parade is at 7 p.m. at the park.
The city office is accepting decorations for the tree and they are also needing cookies donated for the event. Please drop off at the City Office.
