The Rock Hills High School football team closed out their regular season schedule with a 64-22 loss to Washington County at Washington Friday.
The Grizzlies stayed close for the first quarter,trailing 12-8 after the first quarter concluded. They were behind 24-8 at the half. Washington County roraed out onto the field for the third quarter. They scored 20 points in the third and fourth quarters to dash any Rock Hills hopes of a comeback. The loss left the Grizzlies with a 2-6 regular season record. Game statistics were unavailable at press time.
The Grizzlies travel to Oberlin today (Thursday) to take on the 1-7 Red Devils in a cross-district game. Kick off is set for 6 p.m.
