SHS girls golf keep rolling, has schedule change this week

The Superior High School girls golf team continues their impressive run with a fourth place finish at the Minden Invitational Thursday. The 18-hole event featured 19 teams with the first three teams playing one to two classes above Superior. The Wildcats competed at the Fullerton Invitational, Tuesday, with match results unavailable at press time.

Rayne Biltoft led Superior with her round of 101, good for a 10th place finish in the individual standings. Neah McMeen carded a round of 105 to finish in 11th place. Haley Blackstone was in with a round of 106, good for 15th place. Lauren Tietjen recorded a round of 128. Nadia McMeen put in a round of 132.

Superior will host their lone home match of the season today (Thursday). The match was originally scheduled for Monday. The original opponent was Crete. As Crete was unable to field a team, Sutton stepped in to provide the competition. Fans are encouraged to come out to the Superior Country Club and show their support. Tee time is 3:30 p.m.
