Homecoming 2022 begins at Lawrence-Nelson Schools Monday. Instead of having hallway decorations, students will create wooden signs. The public will drive by and vote on their favorite.
The parade will be in Lawrence at 2:30 p.m. The pep rally will follow at the football field at the conclusion of the parade.
The game is Lawrence-Nelson vs. Axtell with kickoff at 7 p.m. The coronation will be held after the football game. The dance will be after the coronation and will end at midnight.
Admission to the dance is $7. There is $1 discount for each day the student dresses up. Out of town dates must be signed up in the office by the end of Thursday, Sept. 22. Admission for dates is $3.
Homecoming dress up days at the high school are: Monday - Pajama Day; Tuesday - Soccer Mom vs. BBQ Dads; Wednesday - White Out; Thursday - Adam Sandler Day; and Friday - Raider Spirit
Homecoming dress up days at the elementary are: Monday - Pajama Day (no slippers or footie pjs; Tuesday - Future’s Bright Day (wear bright colors); Wednesday - Wacky Wednesday (dress crazy); Thursday - Husker Day (wear Husker gear); and Friday - Raider Day (wear black and silver).
