Brad Erickson

Bradley Gene Erickson, the son of Howard and Delores (Okins) Erickson, was born on April 26, 1954, in Marshall, Minn. He died on Aug. 29, 2022, in Marshall, at the age of 68 years, 4 months, 3 days.

Brad grew up in Revere, Minn., and graduated with the Class of 1972 in Walnut Grove, Minn. He then moved to Nebraska where he married Cindy Martin. They later divorced. On June 13, 2014, he was united in marriage to Melissa Shadduck Warren in Superior.

In his previous years, he played baseball and belonged to several different bowling leagues. Brad was an employee of the City of Superior. He retired as the city water department manager in 2020 after 30 years.

Brad was a fan of the Minnesota Vikings and enjoyed watching the Twins play baseball. He was a former Eagles and Elks Club member and also the ABATE (American Bikers Aimed Toward Education.) He was a handy-man and enjoyed his honey-do projects. He also enjoyed riding his Harley and making yearly trips to Lake Perry by Topeka, Kan. He liked fishing, and looked forward to the yearly camping trips to Lovewell Lake with family. Family was important to Brad and he loved having time with them. He especially enjoyed traveling back to Minnesota where he would visit his sister, Joyce, and reunite with his beloved classmates at their class reunions.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Delores, and his brother, Gary.

He will be missed by his wife, Missy and children James (Tamara) Hill of Pensacola, Fla .; Cody (Helen) Warren of Superior; Isabelle (Alan) Marquart of Hardy; Nathan (Taylor Kennicker) Warren of Lincoln; Courtney Warren of Superior and Joey Montague; 10 grandchildren: Jaymeson, Cameron, Kya, David, Alexus, Jeri, Trayton, Bailey, Dawson and Ellie; his sister, Joyce Erickson of Revere, Minn .; and his special mother-in-law, Pat Shadduck; other relatives and friends.

A visitation and gathering of friends and relatives will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10, at the Megrue-Price Funeral Home in Superior. Those attending will be glad to share stories and memories of Brad with his family.

Memorials will be directed to the family.
