On Tuesday, the Kansas Department of Transportation began a chip seal on approximately 22 miles of K-148.
Work on K-148 began at the K-148/K-28 junction and will continue east to the K-148/U.S. 81 junction.
Flaggers and a pilot car will direct one lane of traffic through the construction zone. Drivers should be prepared for a delay of up to 15 minutes and plan extra time in their travel schedules.
