Larry Shaw

Larry L. Shaw died Monday, July 25,at his home in rural Nuckolls County.

Larry was born on Sept. 21,1949, in Davenport to Ward L. and Betty L (Dunkle) Shaw. Larry graduated from Edgar High School in 1967 and then attended Hastings Technical College. Larry was united in marriage to Charlene Johnson on May 25, 1970.  This union was blessed with three children Jody, Serena and Kenneth Shaw.

Survivors include wife, Charlene; children Mrs. Dave McConkie (Jody), Serena Shaw and Kenneth Shaw five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and and one sister, Wilhemina Andersen.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Ward L and Betty Shaw; brothers Randy and Rodney; and grandson Patrick.

His funeral was held July 28, at the Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Edgar. Randy Schneider officiated.  Burial was with military honors at the Edgar Cemetery, Edgar.
