With his bachelor science degree in business administration, he went to work for H & R Block, then Banker’s Investment as an accountant. His career in accounting continued with various companies, culminating with the Bank of America in San Diego, Calif. He retired in 1997.
In 2016, Don moved to Georgetown, Texas, and The Oaks, a retirement community. When his health began to fail, he made a final move to Round Rock, Texas, to be near his brother, Leon.
Don was preceded in death by his parents. He was a quiet, kind and loving man who will be missed and remembered by his survivors; his sister Jeneanne Holloway Chartier (Clarence) of Kearney, Neb.; his brother, Merlin Holloway (June) of Fort Worth, Texas; his brother, Leon Holloway (Aurora) of Round Rock, Texas; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
