Delia Angel Burger of Lawrence was among 626 graduates who received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln during a combined graduate and undergraduate commencement ceremony Saturday at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
Burger earned a bachelor of science in education and human sciences from the College of Education and Human Sciences.
The graduates were from 34 countries, 39 states and more than 70 Nebraska communities.
Susan M. Swearer, Willa Cather Professor and chair of the Department of Educational Psychology at Nebraska, delivered the commencement address.
In addition, previous graduates who were unable to attend their ceremonies because of the COVID-19 pandemic were celebrated. Four returned to be recognized.
