Chamber of Commerce cancels Homegrown event
The announcement was made Monday that the end of summer activity scheduled for Saturday by the Superior Chamber of Commerce had been canceled because of scheduling conflicts.
The event, known as Homegrown, was to include a flea market or farmer’s market featuring homemade or homegrown items, food trucks and other food and beverage vendors, along with water slides and other amusement activities for the youngsters. It was scheduled to run from 3 to 9 p.m. Permission had earlier been obtained from the city council to block off Commercial Street between Third and Fifth and Fourth Street from Central to the alley east of the post office.
