Faimon triplets arrive in Omaha hospital July 23

Minutes . . . hours . . . days . . . and months really don’t change over time, but to Keith and Brittany Faimon of Lawrence, sometimes take longer than others.

The couple were expecting to add to their family of two youngsters in 2022 when this ‘time’ thing came into play.

First, they were told not expect a child, but that they could expect three children.

Secondly, when the children were about 28 weeks old, doctors were worried about the triplets coming way too early and they suggested Brittany move to a hospital where medical care was available, and she could be on bed rest.

Thirdly, almost four weeks after Brittany moved to the Women’s Methodist Hospital in Omaha, the triplets were born on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at approximately 32 weeks, still early, but four precious weeks later than first feared.

More numbers come into play with the births. Yes, the babies are triplets, but two are identical twins and one is the lone member of the triplets.

The three girls are:

Elise Joan, 4 pounds, 1 oz.

Karis Annette, 4 pounds, 1 oz.

Tessa Ann, 3 pounds, 2 oz.

Keith and Brittany have two children waiting at home. Bennett is three, almost four and Atley is one, almost two.

Grandparents are Russ and Donna Faimon of Lawrence and Brad and Annette McWirter of Hastings.

Mother, Brittany, and the babies will remain at the Omaha hospital for the medical attention required of the newborns and mother.

We join the community in celebration of the births and welcoming the family back home, whenever that ‘time’ comes.
