Rock Hills Schools get ready for the new school year

Enrollment was held on Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., at Rock Hills Junior-Senior High School. Patrons received an enrollment packet during the week of July 12.

The paperwork from enrollment packet was picked up. The child’s class schedule for the upcoming school year was reviewed. Any financial information or needs were reviewed. Building tours were available for students unfamiliar with the facility. A representative from CCCC was in attendance from 3 to 7 p.m., to assist and answer questions for those students who will be taking concurrent classes through CCCC.

The Jewell County Health Department attended enrollment from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and provided immunizations to students who were missing required shots to attend school (this did not include the COVID vaccine).

USD 107 will be offering the Application for Free and Reduced Price School Meals online, as well as paper form.

School physicals will be offered on Wednesday, Aug. 3.
