The Nelson Community Club 2022 Fun Days were well attended again this year. Twenty-eight runners and walkers entered the Fun Run Sunday morning. Many early risers attended the Breakfast in the Park.
Another Nelson tradition, the Washers Tournament, drew 24 two-man teams. Addison McCartney and Parker Trumble held off Mark Porter and Joel DeLeon to win the double elimination tournament.
Horseshoes made a return to Fun Days this year. Fourteen signed up and picked two-man teams. The winners were Josh McLaughlin and Daren Myers.
Although not an event, the baseball field saw a lot of action Sunday evening as many of the youth were involved in a pickup game of baseball.
The Community Club would like to thank all who helped make this weekend a success.
