The Lawrence-Nelson boys and girls track team members who qualified for the state meet staged at Harry A. Burke High School, Omaha, Friday and Saturday, competed on the state stage.
The girls team finished in 48th place, with one point, in the 48 team field. The boys team did not score any points.
Emma Epley secured an eighth place finish in the 100 meter hurdles finals with her time of 16,21 seconds. Sydney Biltoft ran a 16.58 second preliminary heat but failed to advance to the finals.
Biltoft ran a 50.59 preliminary heat in the 300 meter hurdles but failed to advance to the final heat.
Kara Menke ran a 1:06.7 400 meter dash preliminary heat but did not advance to the final heat.
Epley finished in 10th place in the long jump with her leap of 16'.5". Elsa Jorgensen recorded a jump of 14'11".
Epley was in ninth place in the triple jump with her distance of 33'1.25".
Logan Menke finished in 11th place in the 1600 meter run with his time of 4:54.56.
The boys 4 x 800 meter relay team of Devyn Zikmund, Tyson Kotinek, Nolan Ostdiek and L. Menke listed a time of 8:58.39 and finished out of the points standings.
