The Red Cross Blood Mobile was in Nelson Thursday. Once again things didn’t go as smoothly as expected. There were 64 donors scheduled, which was super good.
While setting up, the workers found out that one of their Power Red Machines wasn’t working. Therefore, six of the Power Red Donors had to be canceled, which was disappointing. The goal would have been exceeded if those six extra donors could have been collected.
Fifty-one units were collected which definitely helps many patients in need.
Several donors meet their personal milestones.
Sally Uhrmacher is now a 14 gallon donor.
Jodene Clabaugh - 12 gal.
Carla Jeardoe - 5 gal.
Terri Shipley - 7 gal.
Kevin Stout - 6 gal.
Kasey Vaughn - 2 gal.
Joe (9 gal.) and Gwynne (2 gal.) Mazour
Bev Cuba stepped up and donated her first unit. Congratulations!
Other donors were: Don Mazour, Dale Kovanda, Dale Endorf, Kara Kliewer, Marlin Meyer, Ken Himmelberg, Terri Oltmans, Carol Buschkoetter, Chris Hansen, Ramon Otero, Samantha Haba, Ivalee Jacobitz, Cindy Hewitt, Larry Warneking, Kelly Scheuerman, Linda Eggers, Donna Jensen, Wayne Petersen, Jan Menke, Marcia Schultz, John Schutte, Sandra Schendt, Julie Worman, Greg Williams, Diane Gebers, Brent Menke, Mike Buresh, Betty McCutchan, Brenda Schott, Dee Kohmetscher, James McClure, Mary Statz, Deb Troudt, Lyle Meyer, Alfred Hanson, Lynn Culbertson, Carrie Miller, Jenell Wood, Tammy Frahm, Theresa Schultz, and Jackie Siebecker.
