Ella Gardner sprints to her first place finish for Superior in the 200 meter dash at the Southern Nebraska Conference meet at Fairbury last Tuesday.
The Superior High School boys and girls track and field teams competed at the Southern Nebraska Conference meet at Fairbury High School last Tuesday. The boys team finished in second place, with 78 points, in the 11 team field of Centennial, Fairbury, Sandy Creek, Milford, Sutton, Thayer Central, Wilber-Clatonia, David City, Fillmore Central and Heartland Community. The girls team was in third place with 63 points.
The Sutton Invitational, scheduled for Thursday, was cancelled because of inclement weather conditions.
