The Rock Hills High School boys golf team took to the Down Country Club course for the Lakeside Invitational last Tuesday. The team compiled a score of 408 for the event. Other schools at the event were Pike Valley, Chase County, Riley County, Lakeside, St. John’s, LaCrosse, Tipton and Southern Cloud.
The Tipton Invitational was played Tuesday with match results unavailable at press time.
Jacob Berry posted a round of 85 for the 18-hole match. This was good for 14th place in the individual standings. Garret Berry was in with a round of 91, good for 16th place. Daniel McDill carded a round of 113. Jake Underwood had a round of 119.
Davin Coil recorded a round of 62 for the nine-hole junior varsity match he took ninth place in the 45 player field. Gavin Garst had a round of 75.
The Northern Plains League tournament is being played today (Thursday) at the Mankato Country Club.
The Riley County Invitational at Leonardville is scheduled for Monday.
