Logan John Roberts, the son of Timmie and Melissa (Druba) Roberts, was born on Jan. 31, 2008, in Superior, Neb. He died March 31, 2022, at the CHI Good Samaritan Hospital at Kearney, Neb., at the age of 14 years and 2 months.
Logan was an eighth grader at Superior Public Schools. He was active in all the school sporting events, football, basketball, wrestling, track and field and was a quiz bowl and high honor roll student.
His hobbies included fishing and playing video games. He loved hanging out with friends, facetiming, playing basketball with his brothers, riding on the motorcycle with his oldest brother, doing at home science experiments and cooking. His personal items that were important to Logan was his fishing poles, tackle box, his favorite blanket and stuffed elephant and his phone. Logan loved life, his family and friends and will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Elmer Druba, Willard and Glennis McCutcheon, and grandfather, Walter Rowley.
Those left to treasure his memory are his parents, Tim and Melissa of Hardy; sister, JoieAnn (Nick) Durgan of Hastings; his brothers, Ethan (Lexi) of Lincoln, Caden and Austin of Hardy; nieces, Ariana and Emma Durgan; grandparents, Marlene Matthews and John and Sheryl Druba, all of Superior, and Linda Rowley of Hardy; great- grandmother, Helen Druba of Superior; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.
His funeral was held at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, April 9, from the Superior Estates Winery in Superior with Pastor Mike Sander officiating.
Music was "Dancing in the Sky" and "Go Rest High on that Mountain."
Pallbearers were Ethan Roberts, Caden Roberts, T.J. Druba, Jim Roberts, Walter "Bud" Rowley and Cletus Corman.
Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Superior.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family to help with funeral expenses.
