B-D-S girls advance to district with win over Deshler

The Bruning-Davenport-Shickley Eagles cruised through their sub-district D-1-3 bracket to earn a place in the District D-1 8 finals.

The Eagles had no trouble with Red Cloud, winning 42-28, last Tuesday at Davenport, in their opening round game. D-D-S breezed past Deshler, Thursday, 33-18 to advance to the district finals.

B-D-S, the number nine seed, will face Elgin Public-Pope John, the number eight seed, at Shelby-Rising City High School, Shelby, Friday....
