Rouse family buys LaDow's Market

LaDow’s Market, one of Lebanon’s key businesses, has new owners. Kaden and Emily Rouse, owners of R Family Farms, purchased the store earlier this month.

The Rouse family has been raising and marketing Berkshire pork direct from their farm and will continue to do so. The farm’s open air hoop houses and outdoor paddocks can be seen travellers passing through the area.

LaDow’s has been described as an “old school” cafe and store. After visiting the store, Chuck Marble had this to say about it: “Quaint doesn’t even come close! When you step into the dimly lit grocery, time shifts gears and moves slower as you cross the threshold. Ceiling fans gently move the air around the dining room where crops, weather and the local football team monopolize the conversation. I will be back for more than just the rhubarb cobbler and hot coffee.”
