Burr Oak was awarded a $330,000 Community Development Block Grant

Burr Oak was awarded a $330,000 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) toward a water quality, total water infrastructure replacement, water tower repair and upgrades project. Burr Oak was one of 40 cities in the Kansas to receive a portion of $20 million CDBG. Gene Underwood, Burr Oak councilman, and Lennie Gutscher accepted the award.
