Delilah Marie Pate, the daughter of Urdia (Rogers) and Jack Benjamin, was born Nov. 23, 1953, in Colby, Kan. She died unexpectedly Feb. 2, 2022, at her home in Esbon, Kan.
Delilah grew up in Selden, Dresden and Oakley, Kan. In 1964, she moved to Burr Oak, where she completed her formal education and graduated with the Class of 1971. She was united in marriage with Eldon Pate on Nov. 11, 1972, in Esbon. This union was blessed with three children.
Delilah and Eldon made their home in Jewell County where she was actively involved in their community. Her personality was pervaded by her quick smile...
