The Rock Hills High School girls basketball team has quietly put together a four game win streak. They downed Tescott, 37-30, at Tescott, last Tuesday. Win number four came with their 37-27 win against Wilson at Mankato Friday. The Grizzlies now have a 7-6 record for the season. Sylvan-Lucas was in Mankato Tuesday for a game with results unavailable at press time.
Lauren Whelchel dropped through 23 points to lead the Grizzlies offense against Tescott. Danica Frost added nine points. Raylynn Anderes hit for three points. Hannah Simmelink scored two points. Whelchel crashed the boards for five rebounds. Avery Brown, Frost and Simmelink landed three rebounds each. Faith Reinert pulled away two rebounds.
Whelchel lit up the score board with 21 points against Wilson. Brown netted 11 points for her best outing of the season. Caitlyn Scarrow contributed five points.
The Grizzlies visit Lakeside Friday. Rock Hill travels again Tuesday when they go to Natoma.
