The Jewell County Cinema met Dec. 27. The meeting was held by ZOOM and in person. Members present were Thadd Hinkle, Lisa Goodheart (ZOOM), Belinda Jeffery and Phyllis Christie.
Minutes of the November meeting were approved by consensus. Janis McDill e-mailed the treasurer’s report to the board prior to the meeting which was presented via screen share.
In old business, Belinda Jeffery brought in the last check from the NCK Health survey results. She said she could step in as a projectionist if needed. Thadd said the Rock Hills Elementary School gave JCCI a check for $100 in appreciation for the movie shown on the last day of school before the Christmas break.
In new business, Thadd said the next two movies were confirmed. They are “The Last Duel” and “King Richard.” There will be 15 movie showings in January. More volunteers are desperately needed. Contact Phyllis if you are interested in volunteering.
The meeting was adjourned with the next meeting being on Jan. 31.
