"AJ" Shambaugh

Michael Joseph “AJ” Shambaugh, the son of Valerie (Thurin) and Michael

Shambaugh, was born Oct. 29, 1988, at Hastings. He died Dec. 10, at Red Cloud.

A lifelong resident of the area, AJ received his formal education attending the Lawrence-Nelson schools. As a youth and through his high school years, AJ participated in the wrestling programs. Following his graduation from high school he worked with Chief Industries in Grand Island where he became a certified welder.
