week on a farm near Webber

Christmas is returning to the Mike and Deb Worm Farm located one-half mile east and three-fourths of a mile south of the Webber Cemetery at 2529 260 Road.

The reading of the Christmas Story will be presented with live animals at 2 and 7 p.m. this Sunday and at 7 p.m. on Wednesday (Dec. 15).

Helpers are still needed and an advertisement in this issue encourages anyone willing to assist or those who have questions about the event to contact the Worm family. Their email address and phone number are published in the advertisement.

A special Christmas program for the area youngsters will be presented at 2 p.m. Sunday (Dec. 19) in memory of the late Vicky Sweet.

The author of the children’s book series known as Sparkles is arranging a free holiday puppet show with Nibbles the Mouse.

The first 40 youngsters to arrive for the show will receive a lighted head band.

The show sponsors promise to offer tons of interactive fun and a sing-along with Christmas songs.

This newspaper has invited area school teachers to submit letters to Santa Claus and other Christmas theme writings prepared by their pupils for publication in our Christmas issue.

But we want to extend the invitation to others including adults and home schooled children.

All who have a holiday memory they would like to share are invited to submit the story to this newspaper. We don’t promise to publish them all but we will published submissions in good taste as we have space available
