L-N volleyball at sub-district play

It’s crunch time for the Lawrence-Nelson High School volleyball team. Their only avenue to the state D-2 tournament is through the sub-district and district road.

They received some possible help in the sub-district bracket. The Raiders disposed of Wilcox-Hildreth Monday at Roseland to advance to Tuesday’s sub-district final. Franklin handed Lawrence-Nelson a gift when they downed the number one seed Silver Lake Mustangs in four set. This set up a Franklin Flyer-Raider match for the opportunity to advance to the district final Saturday. The Raiders have had their way with Franklin lately, downing them in two recent matches. Match results were unavailable at press time.
