Store promotion to benefit foundation

bomgaar’s ladies night

The Brodstone Memorial Hospital Foundation has been told to expect a donation following the conclusion of a Bomgaar’s store promotion planed for 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 24. At that time, the store will hold a ladies night and 5 percent of the total sales to the hospital foundation.

Bomgaar’s began hosting the ladies nights five years ago. That year the company had 21 participating locations and contributed $18,000. Last year the company had 94 participating locations and donated more than $65,000. This will be the first time the Superior store has participated.

Upon learning the foundation had been selected, Heather Erickson, foundation director, said, “We are honored to be a part of Bomgaars first ladies night in Superior. This year’s Harvest Moon Gala’s cause is mammography and early detection which hits close to home for many people in our community. We thank Bomgaars for supporting this cause by choosing Brodstone Memorial Hospital Foundation as their recipient.”
