The Osceola Bulldogs made themselves unwelcome at Lawrence, Friday, when they sank their teeth into the Raiders and didn’t let go until they left with a 52-14 win. The Raiders were out gunned on offense and defense and left with their fourth loss of the season against three wins.
Krayton Kucera completed 11 of his 25 pass attempts for 123 yards and a touchdown.
Tyson Kotinek made three receptions for 36 yards. Toby Kotinek hauled in three passes for 10 yards. Erik Wheeland put away 68 yards with his two receptions, one good for 43 yards and a touchdown. Bayln Bargen made two catches for six yards. Conner Janda picked up three yards with his one reception.
Toby Kotinek gained 49 yards with his 10 carries on the ground. Kucera kept the ball eight times for 47 yards. He had an 18 yard touchdown run. Bargen picked up 19 yards on five carries. He added a two-point conversion. Tyson Kotinek gained seven yard with his sole carry.
Kucera turned in three solo tackles and nine assisted tackles for the defense. Nolan Ostdiek accounted for three solo tackles and three assisted tackles. Keaton Mazour contributed two solo tackles and six assists. Devyn Zikmund handed in two solo tackles and four assisted tackles. Tyson Kotinek added a solo tackle and five assisted tackles. Wheeland collected a solo tackle and three assists. Clay Williams put up a solo tackle and an assist. Toby Kotinek assisted five tackles. Wyatt Brockman aided with four tackles. Janda had two assisted tackles while Bargen had one assist.
The Raiders close out the regular season portion of their schedule with a trip to Bruning Friday where they play the Bruning-Davenport-Shickley Eagles.
Playoff brackets will be announced after the season finale. Playoff games begin Thursday, Oct. 21.
