There are times when if you can't say something nice, it is best to say nothing at all. This reporter will just mention Kenesaw 75, Lawrence-Nelson 6. That was the score of Friday's Kenesaw-Raiders game

Kenesaw held a 47-6 lead at the half. They added 14 points in each of the final two quarters. The 35 point mercy rule was in effect for the second half. The clock ran continuously with few exceptions such as team and injury time-outs and penalties.

Krayton Kucera completed eight of 28 passes for 104 yards and a touchdown. Conner Janda competed his one pass for one yard.

Tyson Kotinek reeled in six receptions for 50 yards. Erik Wheeland converted his one recpeption into a 31 yard touchdown. Toby Kotinek grabbed one pass for 17 yards. Janda landed one pass for six yards. Bayln Bargen snagged one reception for one yard.

Kucera carried the ball seven times for six yards. Toby Kotinek carried the ball five times for 12 yards. Bargen picked up nine yards with his five carries. Janda gained 22 yards on five carries.

Clay Williams recorded three solo tackles and six assisted tackles. Kucera nailed two solo tackles and six assisted tackles. Tyson Kotinek pulled off two solo tackles and five assists. Keaton Mazour posted two solo shots and three assists. Janda made a solo tackle and had two assists.

Nolan Ostdiek assisted with eight tackles. Wyatt Brockman and Rocky Miller put up three assisted tackles each. Cody Brockman, Roy Davidson, Jacob Kathman and AJ Koehler contributed two assisted tackles apiece. Riley Cannaday, Nathan Elledge, Carter Griffis, Wyatt Hajny and Trev Mueller recorded an assisted tackle each.

Lawrence-Nelson travels to Giltner for a game against the 1-4 Hornets Friday. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
