RHHS football season record drops to 0-2

It was another rough outing for the Rock Hills High School football team Friday. From having their season opener cancelled because of COVID-19 to their second consecutive loss, things have not gone well.

The Axtell Eagles dominated Rock Hills, 62-14, in a game which was called at the half when the 45 point mercy rule was invoked.

Nate Meyers gained 25 yards on 10 carries, Grant Meyers churned out 33 yards with 21 carries. Jacob Barry produced 35 yards with 3 carries.

Barry completed one pass to G. Meyers for seven yards.

The team faces another tough outing, Friday, when they travel to Osborne for a game with the 2-1 Bulldogs. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
