The South Central Red Raiders traveled to Geneva last Thursday to take part in the Fillmore Central Cross Country Invitational Meet. The girls cross country runner for South Central were suffering from illness or injuries and did not take part in the meet.
The boys were among the 19 teams at the meet giving the Red Raiders a chance to see different competition as they reach the middle point of the season.
The boys did not have a medalist for this meet but did compete hard and placements were as follows: Rowan Jarosik 28th: 19:11; Logan Menke 31st: 19:24; Jacob Hagemeier 66th: 22:15; Sean Heaton 67th: 22:15; Itzamna Diaz 81st: 25:13; Zach Brennfoerder 86th: 26:58.
This week the team travels to Hebron on Thursday and next Monday they take part in the UNK Invitational at the Kearney Country Club.
