Out here in the country we may not have an amusement part nearby but that doesn't mean we can't have fun. Country folks have long been known for turning what they have into something fun.
Sunday afternoon the Woerner and Mertens youngsters were playing in a small puddle of water in front of the Woerner home near the intersection of Superior's Fifteenth and Hartley Streets. They were using a bicycle to pull another through the puddle while kneeling on a small plastic sled.
Landon Woerner had a better idea. He got his atv and took the youngsters across the road to where even more water had colle...
