Tuesday afternoon Gov. Pete Ricketts announced he will host a series of “Stop 30x30” town halls across Nebraska. The term “30x30” is used by President Joe Biden to describe his goal of permanently protecting in its natural state 30 percent of the nation’s land and waters by 2030.
At the town halls, Gov. Ricketts and others will deliver remarks about the plan and how Nebraskans can push back on President Biden’s radical climate agenda.
The first meeting will begin at 9:30 Thursday morning, June 3, in the main building on the Clay County Fairgrounds at Clay Center.
